WIP Photo
I don’t have much to say today, but I did want to post a pic of my latest WIP. It’s No Late Knight Snacking by Dragon Dreams.

Better late than never, right?
If you could only finish one of the pieces in your stash as it is at the moment, what would it be and why?
If could only finish one piece right now, I would say it would be “America, Land That We Love” by Jean Farish. I started the piece for my grandmother a couple of years ago, but she passed away before it was finished. It’s just been too painful to stitch on it up to this point. I would like to finish it though and then donate it to either the Elementary School or Public Library in the small town where she lived. I think she would love that and it would be a great way to honor her memory.
NOT Pink Eye!
Thanks for all the well wishes in my journal. Thankfully, it does not appear that it was pink eye since my eye is fine today. It must have just been an allergy or something yesterday. I’m VERY relieved as I certainly didn’t want to have to deal with eyes drops. I HATE those things.
I’m participating in a cats round robin. Today’s mail brought the latest piece for me in the rotation. This is technically the last piece in the round robin, although 1 more piece will be coming back to me down the road. I wasn’t able to finish my square on it on time due to a model stitching job I was working on at the time.
Today’s mail also brought a couple of Calico Crossroads charts that I bought from another poster at TWBB. They are just TOO cute! I got Kitty Cuisine and, my favorite, One is Not Enough. I figured it was perfect considering I have 2 kitties of my own.
So, all in all, I had a MUCH better day today than yesterday.
David has been found!!!
I’m so happy to provide an update to my first post from yesterday to say that the little boy that was missing has been found and is alive and safe!!! This is such an answer to SOOO many prayers, both from Stacey’s real life friends and family, and her cyber friends and family. Here is an article from one of the local TV stations in her area:
Things like this really make me appreciate friends and family all the more. Give your loved ones an extra hug and an “I Love You” today.
Funky Monday
I’m pretty much feeling in a funk today. I overslept by over an hour and it’s just been downhill since then. My right eye has started bothering me and is pretty red. This worries me because I was recently exposed to someone who I later found out had pink eye. So, I’m just hoping again all hopes that it’s NOT that. I really DON’T need to be sick right now, let alone with pink eye of all things.
I didn’t get much stitching done this weekend. I just wasn’t motivated. I worked on Dragon Dream’s “No Late Knight Snacking” for about an hour, but that was all the stitching I did. I spent WAY too much time playing Jungle Gin over at Pogo instead.
I’ve not been very motivated with my weight loss efforts lately either. I’ve been playing with the same 5 pounds for a few months now. I think a lot of it is from the stress and loneliness of my marriage breaking up. I know at some point I’ll get back on track, I just don’t know yet when that will be.
Help Find David Tippin
One of our cyberstitching friend’s son is missing right now. Please pray for Stacey and her family that they find him SOON!! Here is a link to Stacey’s blog post with more details:
