It’s been a great mail week for me for stitching purchases. I received my GAST fiber of the month club mailing from Silkweaver and all of the books I recently ordered and mentioned in my March 12 entry. It’s been so much fun looking through. It’s been especially interesting reading about the symbolism of the Quaker motifs!
Sadly, my stitching has taken a backseat to my reading and drooling over charts. I really do need to get back to my stitching through as I have a couple of exchange pieces that need to be going into the mail before I leave on vacation on the 29th. About the only piece I’ve worked on recently is Rosemarkie which is currently at around 28 hours of total stitching time. Here’s my latest progress pic:
I’m going to a stitching get together on Saturday. I’m really looking forward to it as there should be a few new faces there of stitchers I’ve not met before, so that should be fun.
Happy stitching!

As of today, I have been journaling here for one month without missing a single day. I wish I could say that I hadn’t slipped off program in that time, but I did twice. All in all, I feel really good about that. If I can keep myself to going off program no more than once or twice per month, I’ll should definitely start seeing results on the scale again.

Sorry for not updating this past week. I just never found the motivation to do it. I didn’t really stitch much this week until the past couple of days. I’ve been watching a lot of March Madness, so it’s given me some good stitching time.
I started a new small project yesterday because all of my current WIPs just seemed to daunting while watching hoops. I’m working on my first biscornu. I have most of the stitching done on it and hope to finish that up today. I’m not sure if I’ll get the sewing finishing done on it today or not though.
A stitching friend and I were talking yesterday about the possibility of going to Paris next spring. So, as soon as the three trips I already have planned for next month are done, I plan to start doing some serious saving for the potential Paris trip. So, in honor of that …
