90-Day Challenge: Day 30 of 90
Well, this is the day I can declare myself 1/3rd of the way complete toward my challenge. Things are going really well so far. I have felt tempted a few times to chuck this whole plan, especially since the original two “partners in crime” that were doing this with me haven’t follow through, but I’ve managed to hold it together. Each passing day it gets easier to stay on track, so I’m very hopeful I can make it the full 90 days.
To those of you who read this blog regularly, you know that Monday is my normal day for my weekly Weight Watchers meeting. Due to the Memorial Day holiday here in the U.S., there are no meetings today. I plan to go to a meeting tomorrow instead, so I’ll update my weigh in information tomorrow afternoon.
Late Breakfast: I actually slept in until nearly 9:30!
Western Bagel Alternative English muffin - 1.3
Starbucks light iced coffee - 0.7
Lunch:
Roasted vegetable enchiladas - 5
2 small mangoes - 4
I had NO idea that a small mango would be 2 points. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have eaten two of them.

Salsa - 0
Mushrooms sautéed with EVOO & white zin - 2

90-Day Challenge: Day 29 of 90
Oddly, the restaurant turned out to not be as big of a challenge as I thought it would be. They had several light and vegetarian options so that made things very easy. Hanging around my apartment all afternoon and evening turned out to be the bigger challenge because I snacked most of the day away. I ended up going over by a couple of points, but since I still have most of my weekly points allowance, it’s all good.

Apple - 1
Coffee w/FF creamer - 0.5

90-Day Challenge: Day 28 of 90
Ok, I’ve just learned that tomorrow may be a real challenge. I am meeting my outlaws for lunch and we’re going to a local authentic Mexican resturant. This is not one of the big national chain places, but a really good traditional Mexican place.
I’ve never been known for being able to really control myself at these types of places, so any good vibes are appreciated!
I’m almost 1/3rd of the way through my 90-day challenge and I don’t want to blow it now!

Another biscornu
I finished up my second biscornu last night. I really like the way this one turned out, too! This one is also part of an exchange and was mailed today en route to the recipient whom I hope will like it as much as I did. I had a really difficult time putting it into the mail and will definitely be stitching another for myself!
Here are a few pics:
The designs are from Répertoire des Frises by Valérie Lejeune. I ordered it couple of months ago from Amazon France after I saw a copy at Terri’s house. The designs in it are just awesome! The fibers used are Gentle Arts Shaker Threads in Old Red Paint and Old Blue Paint. I’m not 100% sure what the fabric is because it was a remnant I had in my stash and I had forgotten to mark what it was.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun to stitch. It took me about 10 hours, not including the finishing time which took about another hour. I could see myself easily becoming addicted to these things!
Happy stitching!

90-Day Challenge: Day 25 of 90
I was very hesitant going into today as I knew the retirement party I’ve been planning for my coworker was this evening. I nibbled a bit on the vegetarian-friendly options and did really well, I think, when everything was said and done. I got to mix and mingle at the party, nibble on a few tasty treats, and send my coworker off into her retirement with what will hopefully be wonderful memories of a fun evening.
I was really nervous most of the day about how things would go this evening. So, it was really reassuring to have so many people tell me as they were leaving what a wonderful time they had and that it was one of the best retirement parties they had attended.
