Someone very dear to me made my day. I got these beautiful flowers late this afternoon. It’s the first time I’ve ever gotten 2 dozen roses.
My apartment smells wonderful!
As for my stitching, I’m still plugging away on Quaker Samplings I. I hope to finish it up tomorrow, if possible. Either way, I’ll try to get a progress picture posted tomorrow.
I had a wonderful time over the weekend with some fellow stitchers. We went to one of the local needlework shops to check out their post-Thanksgiving sale. They had everything 25% off. I managed to control myself since I had already partaken of sales at Needlecraft Corner and Stitching Bits & Bobs. I did pick up a beautiful piece of 32-count Jobelan fabric in Waterlily. Now I’m on the quest for the right green fiber to go with it. I want to use it to stitch the companion Quaker Samplings II.
On the medical front, I had my appointment last week with the orthopedist. He basically said there was nothing he could do for me and is now referring me to a neurosurgeon. So, it’s back to the waiting game … yet again.
Happy stitching!

GORGEOUS flowers, gf. :-D
