One Woman Learning to Live Her Best Life

Taj Update/QQX12

Ok, my new rotation has officially gone completely out the window. lol I’m enjoying stitching on Taj so much that I’m just going with it for now. I figure this piece is large enough that I’ll probably want a break at some point, but as long as I’m feeling so motivated on it right now, I’m just going to keep on stitching.

Here’s my latest progress pic at 50 hours of stitching time:

Taj - 50 hours

I can also post the pictures of the piece I did for the Quaker Quarterly exchange now since I know that Darlene received it. I made her a Quaker pinkeep. This was my first time ever making a pinkeep, so I was very nervous about it. For a first try, I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. )

I stitched this on 28-count Chai Tea hand-dyed Jobelan fabric using DMC Color Variations 4130 floss. The front is a motif from the Le Quaker à 6 Mains freebie (from Gigi, Carinne, and Jackye) stitched over 2. The wording on the back is stitched over 1.

Happy stitching!
