Since both the men’s & women’s teams from the University of Tennessee are in the NCAA basketball tournament, I have “adorned” myself in their honor.

Hopefully, in a couple of hours, I’ll be able to say both of our teams are in the Sweet 16!! Our men’s team has already made it and will be facing the fierce Buckeyes of Ohio State on Thursday night. Even as I type this, our Lady Vols are playing Pitt. We’ve taken an early lead of 19-7, so I’m hoping things will continue along this vein.

**UPDATE** Woo Hoo!!! Both teams made it to the Sweet 16!!!!

Last night was sampler guild. Thankfully it didn’t last too long since I wasn’t feeling too well. I did learn (in theory) how to do hemstitch last night, so I was happy about that. I’ve just never stitched a project that called for it or done any pulled thread work, so I never really had a reason to learn it. Our latest group project is My Stitching Chair Necessaire from Hillside Sampling, so I definitely had to learn it finally. Now I just need to figure out when I’ll have time to stitch this project along with everything else I would love to stitch. So many projects, so little time.
