Saturday, June 30
I want to start today’s post by saying that my thoughts are with those in Scotland and the rest of the UK. Thankfully, no innocent victims have been hurt in London or Glasgow in these attempts the past couple of days, but I’m sure it naturally has everyone there on edge not knowing if there might be more to come. Hopefully this morning’s events in Glasgow will be the end of it!
It’s Saturday, so that means another weigh in day for me. I’m happy to report that I was down 1.5 pounds this week!
Even with that, I’m still slightly off pace for my summer challenge, but if I can have another 1.5 pound loss week, then I’ll be right back on track since my goal can be met with an average loss of 1 pound per week.
After I left my Weight Watchers meeting, I headed down the street to Trader Joes and stocked up on groceries. My fridge and cupboards were pretty bare. As I was leaving TJs, I noticed they were having the grand opening of a new Golden Spoon frozen yogurt store across the street. Golden Spoon is BY FAR the ultimate frozen yogurt, IMO. It’s only 17 calories and 0g of fat per ounce, but the best part, it doesn’t taste like it! As part of their grand opening, they were giving away free 4 oz. mini cups to all customers this morning. So, I had 1 point of yummy New York Cheesecake frozen yumminess after I ate my lunch.
Yes, as you may have noticed, my OP streak continues. I don’t have any exact number in mind that I’m shooting for as far as a new days OP goal. For now, things are going well, so I’m just going with it and I’ll see where it takes me.

I came to nibble on golden spoon yogurt. Alas, it is FAR more satisfying in non-blog form.
Thanks anyway!
Congrats on your WI!
