Broom Hilda Update
I took another progress picture of Broom Hilda’s Hat. I can’t believe how quickly it’s stitching up. Of course, I have gotten in more stitching time than normal the past couple of days, so that helps.
Given how much progress I’m making, I should have another project knocked off my WIP Killer Challenge this week.
In other news, I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of the chart for the Hannah Beeby 1816 SAL that will be starting in about 10 days or so. I had ordered it early in February from ABC Stitch, but after not having received it 3 weeks later, I finally canceled the order and just ordered it directly from Gittas in Canada. It was shipped on March 4, so it should be here this week.
I still haven’t made up my mind 100%, but I’m thinking this will be my fabric and fiber choice. The fabric is Lakeside Linen Tundra and the fiber is Snoqualmie Falls from the now defunct Needle Necessities. I love how it looks together, but I’m really torn between this and using “traditional” sampler fiber and fiber choices.
As my usual closing for my daily entries, here are my WW stats for Tuesday:
Total: 30
Exercise: None
WPA balance: 35
Water: 64 oz
Days OP: 9

Wow, you’re making great progress on that hat! And I think your choices for Hannah are traditional enough colors. Who’s going to know it’s not silk (if that’s what you were talking about in terms of fiber choices)?
