One Woman Learning to Live Her Best Life

Happy Anniversary!!

I want to start today by wishing my parents a VERY happy 48th wedding anniversary. D It won’t be long until my sister and I will have to start planning the party for their 50th. lol

In other news, I got a new toy today! It’s a Blackberry Curve 8310 I’ve had a work Blackberry for a few years, but I finally broke down and replaced my personal cell with one. The camera is WAY better than the one on my old phone (early edition Razr) and even includes a flash. I love it!! yes

In stitching news, I got in a bit of stitching time last night on Dazzle. It’s not really enough to justify a new progress photo though. I’m planning to work on it tonight while watching The Biggest Loser, so I might have an updated progress photo tomorrow.

Until next time …

  1. Happy Anniversary to your parents )

And I bought the same Blackberry Curve last month!

  2. You will LOVE your curve. I replaced my Razr in January, and I just am so glad! I don’t know what I did without it. Keep up the good work on WW. I’m watching biggest loser right now and have gotten my daily walk in. =P

  3. Wow, 48 years!! That’s wonderful! Happy Anniversary to your parents!

Ugh, I want to get rid of my Razr V3c. The stupid battery holds a charge for maybe 2 days if I’m lucky. It’s so annoying.

  4. That’s the exact same phone I had AND the exact same problem, Christine! Only with mine, it wasn’t even holding for 2 days. It would barely hold for a day. I was pretty much plugging it in every night to charge while I slept.

I put a new battery in it recently, but kept having the same problem. When I spoke with the guy at AT&T today, he said that it was most likely a problem with the charging apparatus inside the phone since the battery tested fine. He said the phone was potentially only “trickle” charging. So, even though the phone was showing the battery as fully charged, it most likely wasn’t. Since my phone was out of warranty, I opted to just go ahead and upgrade to the Blackberry since I was going to need to buy a new phone anyway.

  5. Congratulations to your parents! 48 years is awesome ) we’re hitting 33 in June.

ohhh you have a new crackberry eh? enjoy it! lol
