Overwhelmed
Life can be so overwhelming sometimes. That’s where I’m at right now. I’m just really struggling mentally right now and battling my depression demons. I’ve still managed to hold on to my eating plan and not give in to emotional eating, so that’s been a positive for me.
Since I was feeling blue, I just kind of hunkered in and stitched most of the weekend. I spent Saturday working on Acorn Hill by Little House Needleworks. Yesterday I switched things up and worked on Gingerbread Cottage from Country Cottage Needleworks. Here are my progress pics as of last night:

it is great that you have found an outlet for your feelings. I get so overwhelmed at times too. I am a stay at home mom of 4 and sometimes keeping up with the house, the kids, the meals and trying to teach everyone something (including myself) in the process seems like an impossible task. Take it one day at a time. Deep breathing really helps me get to the calm place when I am feeling like a sinking ship. Hope you can find something to smile about today

Love the gingerbread cottage! And you sure can’t eat Cheetos and do needlework at the same time, huh?
