Wow, I heard this song today and it seems to go along hand-in-hand with my post from earlier in the week discussing how I feel about myself. The song is called “Not Pretty Enough” by Kasey Chambers.
I can’t help but wonder if all of these little things popping up in my life right now are indicators that I’m on the verge of some sort of breakthrough with my weight issues. I really think pinpointing how I feel about myself and past experiences is going to be key in moving forward. Perhaps this is the time that I’ll finally let go of things from my past that are holding me back from reaching my goal!
I hadn’t really posted about it here, but I summed up something(?) within myself and went back to Weight Watchers last month. I told myself when I let my membership lag the last time that I wasn’t going to do it again. I was tired of paying money and never sticking with it.
On a completely spontaneous whim on Nov. 8, I stopped in at a center and joined. Since then, I’m down a total of 3.7 pounds. I know that doesn’t sound like much for a whole month, but given that Thanksgiving fell within that time, I’ll take it. 
In closing, I just wanted to thank all of you for the support via comments and email last week. It’s really awesome to know I have such wonderful friends. Thanks!
