I’m so proud of you for raising the money and giving it your all. And I love that you got a finisher’s medal. That’s awesome!

Melissa you are such a champ for powering on despite your injuries! I’m going to knock out my first half marathon next year (if all things go as planned) and I’m going to try to harness your go-get-em attitude through the training. What an inspiration that you kept at it! And that fundraising is really something!

WTG! for following through on your training! Problems happen to all of us on race day at some point, so don’t feel bad about not finishing, just feel good about what you were able to accomplish.

I ran the marathon there a few years ago. It was so much fun!

Hopefully you can work through your back issue, and then maybe sign up for another 13.1 in the future. You are able to do it, just that Sunday wasn’t your day to do it. Frustrating, but you are still a winner.
