I’ll start off with a health update. I had my follow-up appointment with the pulmonologist today. She was very pleased with how I’ve progressed in the week since I last saw her. I’m still not well, but I’m getting there. She took me off the antibiotic and codeine cough syrup, but wants me to continue the Prednisone for another 10 days. She also wants me to continue with the Dulera corticosteroid inhaler. She said unless I start feeling like I’m taking a turn for the worse again, she doesn’t need to see me again for three months.
After I left the doctor’s office, I headed over to Target to get the prescription for the Dulera filled. I also needed to pick up some fruit & veggies, so I wandered over to the grocery section to shop while they were filling my script. I was so happy to see that they once again had Flatout wraps in stock! The last couple of times I’ve been there, they’ve always been sold out. I grabbed a couple while I could.
Since I had my newly acquired wraps, I decided to have one for lunch. I also just so happened to have some Athenos roasted red pepper hummus on hand, so I used two tablespoons of that as my wrap condiment rather than mustard or low-fat mayo. Not only is it a healthier option, but it adds some wonderful flavor, too!
Here was my finished lunch which was incredibly tasty! It’s a turkey breast & cheese wrap stuffed with lettuce, onions, and pickle then paired with grape tomatoes and baby carrots.
I also came up with another tasty (at least I think so
) frozen Chobani treat this evening. Up to this point, everything I’ve done has been fruit flavors. I struck out in a completely different direction today. I present to you Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana FroCho (my own little nickname
).
I made it with 6 oz. nonfat vanilla Chobani, 1 tbsp PB2 peanut butter powder, 1 tsp Hershey unsweetened cocoa, and one banana (sliced). Puree everything together and freeze. YUM!

That’s my regular amount, Alison. My target is 36. WTG for getting back on track!!
Your wrap looks amazing! So does the FroCho!
I tried the FroCho tonight. I think I needed to add some sweetener. It was quite tart. But it was very tasty. Vanilla yogurt/frozen mango. Now I must make some Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana – my favorite flavors.
