I’ve been sitting on some big news for a few weeks now, but finally got the “official” go ahead today to share it. So, here it is …
Yep, that’s right!I was asked by Weight Watchers to be part of their new Ambassador program! To say I’m honored would be a massive understatement. The new Ambassador group is comprised of a few dozen members and leaders from across the country hand selected by the social media team at Weight Watchers.
I’m really excited there are some familiar faces in the group, too! Some of the members I met as part of the early access group to beta test the Beyond the Scale program have also been selected as Ambassadors, so I have some great friendships in the group already. 🙂
What exactly does being an Ambassador mean? Along with the other members of the Ambassador program, I’ll be participating in special challenges, events, etc. with Weight Watchers. In fact, we’ve already learned what our first challenge will be and this is only our first day! I’ll be sharing more details about this first challenge in a future post.
If you want to follow along on everything the Ambassadors are doing, you can find all the fun by searching on the #WWAmbassador hashtag on your favorite social media channels. If you aren’t already following me, I would love to have you do so. Here is where you can find me:
- Instagram: TheDailyMel
- Connect: geekymel (only available to members of Weight Watchers)
- Facebook: The Daily Mel
I hope you’ll join me as I continue on my journey!
Until next time …
Disclosure: I’m a member of the Weight Watchers brand ambassador program. I am not paid for my participation, but choose to participate because of my belief in the Weight Watchers program and the impact it has had on me personally. I may receive exclusive brand access (e.g. trying a new product before it’s released, appearing in brand advertising, free swag, etc.), or a prize. As always, all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
