Weekly Weigh In – Week 27

Yesterday was my Sunday morning meeting at Weight Watchers, so that means it’s time for another weekly weigh in. Despite saying 100% on program and earning a crazy number of FitPoints, I stayed the same this week. No loss, but no gain either which is always good. While I really wanted to see a loss, I’m looking at the big picture.

In the past four weeks, I’ve lost a total of 8.6 pounds which includes the maintain I had this week. That means I’m still averaging two+ pounds per week over the past month. (People following the Weight Watchers plan can expect to lose 1-2 lbs/per wk.).

The weather finally cooled down a bit in southern California … at least temporarily. It’s supposed to warm up again this week. I took advantage of the cooler weather to get outside for some of my walks this week. I’ve been using this cool new water bottle Weight Watchers sent to all of us who are their new ambassadors. It’s from their Project L.I.F.T. line of products. As part of the Project L.I.F.T. campaign, Weight Watchers will be donating the profits from the sale of these products through November 30, 2016 to the American Cancer Society.

All the walking I did last week paid off. I was able to complete the final stage of the New York City adventures in the Fitbit app. Over the course of five days, I walked a total of 26.2 miles and completed a virtual NYC Marathon. I’ll be moving on to the Yosemite adventures this week. The NYC and Yosemite ones are the only ones they have so far, unfortunately. I’ve really been enjoying how motivating they are, so I hope they add more soon.

I’m also participating in the Step It Up, USA challenge right now, too. It runs Oct. 13-26. I’m on a team with several other members from my local Weight Watchers center. It’s been very motivating see how well everyone has been doing! If you have a Fitbit and aren’t participating already, check it out!

    What I always tell myself is that my scale always rewards – just not necessarily when I think it should! Keep up the great work, you’re doing fantastic!
