I’m back with my Week 29 weekly weigh in update. Things have continued to go really well since I returned to meetings six weeks ago. Here’s a look at my weight loss graph for the past month. I love seeing that awesome downward trend!
I’m not sure if it was my health scare from this summer, or my mind is in the right place for weight loss now, or perhaps it’s just some combination of the two, but I’m feeling super determined and motivated right now. I didn’t even eat a SINGLE piece of Halloween candy this year! With that all in mind, I was definitely expecting a nice loss when I went to my Weight Watchers meeting Sunday morning, but definitely wasn’t expecting this kind of loss. Woo Hoo!!!
I was only 0.2 away from my 20 pound star after last week’s weigh in, so I zoomed right past that point and now find myself only 1.8 pounds away from earning my 25 pound charm. I would love to get it at my next weigh in, but after losing 3.4 pounds this week*, I’m not sure I can pull off that big of a loss next week. Historically, any time I drop a big chunk like I did this week, the scale isn’t as kind the next week. Even if I don’t get there at my next weigh in, it’s only a matter of time before I’ll be adding that cute little charm to my charm holder.
As you can see in my “blue dot” chart from the Weight Watchers app, October was a really good month for me tracking-wise. Any day where I stayed within the 40-50 SmartsPoints range (I currently have a daily target of 43 SmartPoints), I earned a blue dot on my tracking calendar. Even on the four days when I didn’t earn a blue dot, I still stayed within my Weekly Points Allowance tracked 100% of everything that went in my mouth for the entire month of October. In fact, as of yesterday, I currently have a string of 43 consecutive days of 100% tracking.
Sadly, I completed my final Fitbit Adventure this week, too. It was the Yosemite Pohono Trail Adventure. I’m kind of sad I’ve finished all of the adventures currently available. I can go back and repeat any of them again, but it would be more fun if there were more than six available. Hopefully the folks over at Fitbit will realize how popular they are becoming and introduce more soon.
That’s it from me for now. I should be back a couple of more times this week with more posts. One will be a review of some meals I received from FITzee Foods to try. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve likely seen some of the photos I’ve been posting of their meals over the past week or so. The second blog post will likely come this weekend and will be my monthly update for the Year of WIPs challenge for my cross stitching hobby.
Until next time …
*Disclaimer: People following the Weight Watchers plan can expect to lose 1-2 lbs/per wk.
