Welcome to 2019!! I put this blog on hiatus almost a year ago. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue blogging here, but I didn’t necessarily want to permanent delete it either until I made up my mind what I wanted to do. As long time readers know, this blog has taken on a couple of different formats over the years. Initially, it was just a general blog for anything I wanted to write about, but, over time, it transitioned into more of strictly a health/weight loss blog. After giving it a lot of though, I’ve decided to resurrect this blog, but in doing so, I want to align it with my word of year for 2019.

My word of the year for 2019 is simplify. I no longer have a desire to maintain separate blogs and social media accounts for various areas of my life. Not only does it feel very disjointed that way, but it’s just a lot of work maintaining all of it! With that in mind, I’ve decided to simplify things and return to the original idea I had when I created this blog all those years ago. I just want a single blog/social media presence for everything. This includes a wide variety of topics from all areas of my life — crafting (which includes stitching, card making, knitting, etc.), recipes, health/wellness, etc.

Since I’m simplifying my life, I’ve also decided to deactivate/consolidate most of my social media accounts and keep only those I use most often. Here is a list of the active accounts where I can be followed on social media going forward.

I know most people aren’t going to be interested in everything I may post about now. Some of you are only interested in my stitching, some card making, and others health/wellness. I know I might lose some of you with this new combined format, but I really hope you’ll stick with me.

I’ll be posting a couple of things over the next few days to catch you all up with what’s been going on with me over the past several months. It’s been kind of crazy! I’ll also be posting my 2018 stitching recap along with my stitching plans for 2019.

Until next time …

I like this format! I’m not a card maker but I like to see what you get up to with cards and it feels like I get to see the whole you with a single blog! Welcome back!
