- 1 pound 96% lean ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 medium onion chopped
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 can condensed tomato soup divided
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce divided
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a medium sized bowl, stir together the beef, eggs, onion, oatmeal, ketchup, salt and pepper, half of the soup, and 1 tbsp of the Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with your hands until combined, but don't overwork.
Place mixture in a loaf pan and mold the loaf.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, the rest of Worcestershire sauce, and rest of the soup. Mix well then pour over the top of loaf.
Bake 75 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 155-160ºF.
